Sacred Heart says I can use the Village to Village free bus on TH/Fr. I live at Redfern (Darlington near Redfern Station) but I can’t see a route on this site that goes to St Vincent’s. Is there one please.

    • Hi there!
The purple V2V can take you to St Vincents Hospital, although you would have to change at Poets Corner from the green bus to the purple bus. You could catch the 10:00am green bus at Lawson St, get off at Poets Corner and then hop on the purple bus at 10:30am. It can get you to St Vincents by 11:00am.

      Hope this helps.

    Hi There,

Could you please suggest the best way for the below routes:-
    1) 201 Kent street to Paddys Markets
    2) 201 Kent street to Surry Hills

Appreciate Village to Village services. Looking forward to utilize your services.

    Thanks
    Pavan

    • Thanks for your comment!

      Regarding you enquiry

      – 1) Kent St to Paddys and Surry hills can be achieved if you transfer to the purple bus at Bourke Street in Woolloomooloo.

If you have a look at the blue brochure for the outward trips, you can hop on at 201 Kent Street and take it all the way to the last stop – Mary Mac (no. 18). This is where you can hop off and get on the other bus.

      Times at Bourke St to transfer are 9:30am, 11.25am, 1:40pm and 3:15pm. You’ll then get to Paddy’s by 10:15am, 12:15pm, 2:15pm and 3:45pm.

Hope this helps, and if you have any more enquiries, please don’t hesitate to contact us through email or telephone!

  3. Hi can you please tell me the best way to get from Railway square central to st vincents hospital. Cheers!

    • Hi Rachel,

Thanks for your enquiry! To get to St Vincents from Central you would be looking at the Purple V2V (Woolloomooloo to Redfern) where you can hop on at Chalmers Street just left to the Central Railway pedestrian tunnel. The times include a bit after 8:45am, 10:30am, 12:30pm and 2:30pm @ Central Railway.

Otherwise if you’re catching a train, you can hop off at Kings Cross station and just opposite on Darlinghurst Road, catch the purple V2V. These times include a bit after 8:05am, 9:45am, 11:45am, 1:45pm and 3:20pm. Catching it this way ensure that you have a seat, as the bus sometimes is at full capacity on the return trip.

If you would like more information, please call me on 8241 8000 or email me at villagevillage@live.com

      Cheers!

Good afternoon. At your convenience would you tell us, please, if a community bus will take us from Belvoir St., Surry Hills to Manly ferry wharf at the Quay.
    Thank you, Bill.

    • Hi there!
We have the purple shuttle that stops at the Northcott Buildingon Belvoir Street but does not go to Circular Quay unfortunately. It can connect you to Central Railway or Kings Cross station whereby you can catch the train to Circular Quay station.

The blue shuttle route (which starts at Broadway) is probably the most appropriate in terms of getting to the quay. It stops on the corner of George and Bridge Street however, it would require you to make your way to Broadway.

  5. Dev says:

can you please tell me the best way to go from darlinghurst to broadway shopping center and what would be the timing of the buses. Is there any bus in the evening?

    • Hi there!

Unfortunately there are no buses running in the evening.

Depending on where you live, you can catch the purple bus, travelling to Woolloomooloo and then link up with the blue bus that goes to Broadway. Alternatively, you can catch the purple bus travelling to Redfern and then link up to the Green bus that goes to Broadway.

If you have any more questions, give us a call on 8241 8000 or send us an email: village2village@live.com Thanks!
